Oh, Look! It's Kermie! -one of Bernie's old pals.

Trip Photos
I'm glad everyone is enjoying traveling along with our eighth graders as they visit Washington D.C. There have been many requests for pictures so I wanted to let everyone know that we'll be posting a photo album with many more pictures when the kids get back.
Thank you for all the great comments and kudos for this project. The kids are doing a fabulous job bringing the experience home and getting as many student interviews as possible. Hats off to our eighth graders! And Mrs. Drewes, in hindsight, I don't think this project would be what it is without your superb editorial guidance. You really helped Laura and Regie become great spokespersons for the school.
This has been a project with many moving parts, both logistically and technologically. We've learned a great deal about how to use this technology to communicate more effectively (and dynamically) and to bring the learning experience a little closer to home, in real time. In the future, I look forward to helping bring more projects like this to the students and parents of JP2.
Thank you all again for your continued support of our students.
Sincerely,
John Maklary
